Seven prayers from Baqiyatus salehat at bedtime and at waking are as follows:

First:

Imam al-¯¡diq (`a) is reported to have said: Whoever repeats the following doxology three times before going to bed, will be released of his sins as exactly as he was on the day his mother gave birth to him:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي عَلاَ فَقَهَرَ

al¦amdu lill¡hi alladh¢ `al¡ faqahara

All praise be to Allah Who has exalted, thus dominated.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي بَطَنَ فَخَبَرَ

wal¦amdu lill¡hi alladh¢ ba§ana fakhabara

All praise be to Allah Who has been immanent, thus known all things.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي مَلَكَ فَقَدَرَ

wal¦amdu lill¡hi alladh¢ malaka faqadara

All praise be to Allah Who has owned all things, thus had power over them all.

and He has power over all things.

Shaykh al-¯ad£q has also reported the same tradition.

Imaam Ja’afar Saadiq (A.S.) said that anyone who recites this Duaa 3 times while going to sleep will be cleansed of sins as if a new-born one: “Al-Hamdulillaahil-Ladhee Alaa Faqahar, Wal Hamdu Lillaahil-Ladhee Batwana Fa Khabar, Wal Hamdu Lillaahil-Ladhee Malaka Fa Qadar, Wal Hamdu Lillaahil-Ladhee Yuhyil Mawta Wa Yumeetul Ahyaa’a Wahuwa Alaa Kulli Shay’in Qadeer.”

Second:

Fourth:

Imam al-¯¡diq (`a) is reported to have said, “Whoever repeats S£rah al-Taw¦¢d (No. 112) one hundred times before he goes to sleep, Almighty Allah will forgive him the sins of fifty years.”

Imam al-¯¡diq (`a) is also reported to have said, to recite S£rah al-K¡fir£n (No. 109) and S£rah al-Taw¦¢d before he goes to sleep…

Fifth:

Imam al-¯¡diq (`a) reported the Holy Prophet (¥) as saying: Whoever intends to wake up at a particular time , may say the following words before he goes to sleep. If he does, Almighty Allah will order an angel to awaken him at the very time he intends to wake up:
